Knee pain may be caused by lumbar spine problem.
The human body has sciatic nerves and femoral nerves from the lumbar vertebrae, which are distributed all the way to the lower part of the body, while the hip joints have obturator nerves. This nerve line continues to the direction of the lower extremities and also passes through the knee joints. When the waist and hip lesions appear, they will stimulate the nerves in the waist and hips to send a pain signal to the brain, which the brain thought it is a signal from the knee joint. Any unhealthy condition from lumbar vertebrae of the 4th to 5th part will affect the sciatic nerve, results in knee joint pain, sore and heavy limbs and other symptoms.
How to know knee pain is due to lumbar problems?
1. The swollen and painful area is on the inside or outside of the knee part, which limits the flexion and extension of the leg.
2. Unilateral knee pain, restricted mobility, pain when standing for a long time or walking, but it will be relieved after resting.
3. Knee joints are often swollen and painful, and the disease lasts for several months.
4. Treatment for more than 3 weeks, but no significant improvement in knee pain and repeated occurs.
Therefore, bone health is very important; especially the intake of minerals and trace elements cannot be ignored.
